Pesticide Training Virtual Course - CORE and Category 6

These courses are offered by Skip Kincaid and approved by MO Department of Agric. (MDA) for the following:

Recertification of certified Commercial and Non-Commercial, and Public Operator Pesticide Applicators in Category 6. NEW! If you are licensed in more than one category, you need to attend a class for each category. New MDA rules require that you recertify in each and every category you wish to retain.
Exam Preparation for those wanting to prepare for the core exam and category exams
NEW! Non-Certified Restricted Use Pesticide (NRUP) Training (required for non-certified applicators that will be using restricted use pesticides (RUPs) after January 1, 2025) NRUP can replace a current tech license. NRUPs will need to be supervised by a certified applicator that holds a license in the same category as the intended use by the NRUP license holder. NRUP training will be required every year to maintain an NRUP license. Once you are registered for a class, you will receive a log-in code a few days before the course for one person to attend the virtual session from 8:00am-3:00pm. NOTE: You must register each person separately! On-line attendance for each registered attendee is verified through Zoom and periodic check-ins during the class. Credit for attendance will not be granted for multiple viewers unless arrangements are made with Skip Kincaid. You will need to be logged in for the entire broadcast to receive credit for your attendance and be eligible for recertification. (Periodic short term disconnects are OK if you log back in immediately.)

Strict adherence to MDA policies is maintained. Full attendance at required sessions is a must for credit to be received. MDA will receive notice of your attendance.

This class provides the new NRUP training option that is required for non-certified (current technicians or unlicensed) individuals that use restricted use pesticides (RUPs) after January 1, 2025. Check the NRUP option below and we will provide you with an approved "NRUP Notice of Training" form after attending the class. You can submit this to MDA along with your "NRUP Application". Green-industry employees including, golf-course employees, lawn maintenance, tree workers, plant health care, arborists, foresters, municipal, county, state, property managers, right-of-way managers, etc.
Current licensed certified applicators needing the MDA required recertification in Category 6 . Note that you now need to attend a separate class for each category.
NEW! Individuals that need NRUP training to apply restricted use pesticides (RUPs). NRUP can be used by non-certified individuals that will apply restricted use pesticides. NRUPs will need to be supervised by a certified applicator that holds a license in the same category as the intended use by the NRUP license holder. NRUP training is required every year to maintain an NRUP license. Skip Kincaid is an ISA Board Certified Master Arborist (#MW-0155BM) and an SAF Certified Forester (#1516) with over 30 years of experience providing pesticide training across the country. Skip has taught this class for over thirty years. Many people prefer attending this class to hear Skip’s real-world approach to the safe use of pesticides and learning about plant pests.

Registration Options:

Recertification of Existing License (inc CORE and Cat 6) ($200.00)
Select this option for recertification and re-training of existing license holders.
Recertification - Category 6 only (no CORE) ($150.00)
This is category specific recertification for Category 6 only! It does not include CORE material). Selecting this option means you can login at 10:30am instead of 8am. You will not receive recertification for CORE material with this option. Be sure this is the option you want. It is typically only used when you have already registered for or attended a different class that offers CORE recertification and category recertification. If you need to recertify in CORE and Category 6, select the option above.
NRUP Training NEW!! ($225.00)
Select this option for non-certified applicators that will use restricted use pesticides after January 1, 2025. An NRUP "Notice of Training" will be provided for each attendee that will verify their attendance at the NRUP training.
IMPORTANT NOTE: This option must be selected for anyone that wants the NRUP training and an NRUP Notice of Training form after the course. Note that NRUP will essentially replace the technician license, but will require annual NRUP training.
Exam Preparation ($200.00)
Select this option to attend the class as a prep study tool for non-licensed individuals that plan to take the CORE and/or Category 6 exams.
